Tapping a Ley Line is generally a bad idea. It'll explain why later on, and what exactly happened.

So much for a test of the manipulation of growing things, huh? Do you think he passed, or failed?

Also, sorry about the delays. I done forgot about it for a little while. =( it's getting to be busy around here, plating the gardens (both flower and vegetable), starting some homebrew wine, and general spring-maintenance like pressure washing the concrete around the house. Posts may slow down to one page a week for the duration of spring, and pick back up again once summer gets into gear.

Normal update tomorrow at it's standard time, single-updates starting next-week with Friday.

I forget what the trope's name is, but there's a trope for instances where he both passes and fails. That may not be what actually happens, but if I were on the mysterious mage council, that's what I'd do to him. :P

The fact that he tapped a ley line alone (and presumably lives through the ordeal) is apparently incredibly impressive, but if he tapped the ley line even close to intentionally, it'd be incredibly reckless. :P
